  1. Today was the first day of sun after about 16 days of straight rain. Hopefully the rain doesn't last that long for you!

What kind of camera do you use? Your pictures looks fantastic and am in the market for a nice one.

    Happy Saturday!

  2. Oh why thank you!!! Yes this past week was awfully rainy for us too :(

I have a Nikon D3200. I bought it for myself as a Christmas present and it was more than I ever thought I would spend on a camera but let me tell you it was worth EVERY penny. I've only had it for 6 months but I'm really starting to get the hang of it...and to be honest having a killer editing program certainly helps. I have more fun things for it on the way for my birthday coming up and I am SO excited. It's become an amazing hobby for me.

You should DEFINITELY invest. Especially with your little one on the way. Knowing my bug was on the way was my final push (pun definitely intended) to buy the camera and it is I have to say the best purchase I've made ever.

You should definitely go for it!!! Good luck mama!! :)

    1. I was going to wait until Christmas but then I thought... She will be six months old by then!! From reading your most recent posts, there is a lot that changes from now to then! So I am going to head to the store today and see if I can handle dealing with a sales person since I literally have no idea what to look for.

Thanks for the advice and your baby girl is beautiful. Keep those pictures coming :)

    2. Honestly, coming from the worlds biggest penny pincher, if you have the money, go for it right away!

Like I said I bought mine at Christmas but I truly didn't feel like I got the hang of taking pictures until maybe a month or so ago?

Granted I didn't open the manual ONCE hahaha Manuals and I don't exactly get along per se. But all the days leading up to buying the camera I spent HOURS AND HOURS online researching anything and everything I could on the damn thing.

Plus just like you said the first 6 months are SO SO important and trust me you'll be kicking yourself in the butt if you don't buy it. And you'll be thanking me when you do ;)

If it helps I would do as much research as you can online first and read reviews on each of cameras you're considering. People will most definitely tell you what they do and don't like about each one (plus some places either don't know enough about the camera, or are too busy pushing you to buy the most expensive one that it can be overwhelming). But the research and reviews definitely helped me make my ultimate decision.

You'll love every minute of it I promise! And if your pictures aren't coming out the way you like them to, keep practicing, because like I said , I don't feel my pictures were significantly improved until a month or so ago. And of course if you have ANY questions, I'm always here too :)

  3. Love the photos and your girl's beautiful blue eyes~

We are having some wet days over here, unusual as it was suppose to be hot and humid. Well, I'm enjoying the rain as much as I can, who knows, this week will be a dry one.
